However I have not been too busy to notice that everyone I talk to is so inspired by the 2012 Olympics! myself included. So you can imaginge my delight when I was invited [via - Britmums ] to attend the SET4SPORT event arranged by Judy Murray [Judy is the mother of Andy Murray- only the World's #4 Tennis Player ]. The aim of the event was to demonstrate games from her Set4Sport programme.
Unfortunantely I was unable to attend at the last minute[Erin 3 fell ill-alas the joy of motherhood], however I was kindly sent 4 of Judy's books in the post.
According to Judy . These lessons do not need a gym, a sports club or a specialised trainer. The best games are usually the ones you and the kids make up yourselves -music to my ears!!!

As a mother of 2 active daughters aged Erin 3 and Armelle 6 [often described as Princess Tomboys] I am delighted to find the contents of this book very useful. I find it especially so, as the winter months are fast approaching, I now have even more indoor activites I can do with the girls to keep them active, entertained with lots of fun and laughter. The best part for me is that- I do not have to purchase anything!!!! Everything I need is right under my roof. And I am certain you have the same in your home too.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and found the links useful. I aim to do a follow up post with Armelle and Erin in a photo journey putting some of the games to good use. Look for that in early December. Best wishes Chelsea Disclamer- This is not a paid post , however I was sent the books for a giveaway and review. The 3 books have since been snapped up when I had a playdate at my home last week with three 3 year olds! The opinions stated here are all mine and that of my family. |
