Heritage- For my daughters
I was born in Trinidad the twin isle of the Caribbean. This is our national flag with it's meaning/representation.

Designed by the Independence Committee and selected to be used as the National Flag
in 1962.
The colour Red represents the "vitality of the land and its people; it is the warmth
and energy of the sun, the courage and friendliness of the people."
The colour White
represents "the sea by which these lands are bound: the cradle of our heritage; the
purity of our aspirations and the equality of all men under the sun."
The colour Black
represents "the dedication of the people joined together by one strong bond. It is
the colour of strength, of unity, of purpose and of the wealth of the land.
I feel it is important for my daughters to know where I am from and the culture that influenced my essence.
So girls... pay close attention, I will be doing a series of posts about the country, the culture, the food and essence of Trinidad and Tobago, so stayed tuned.

Love is..............
Love is............giving your wife more hours to herself....
My husband recently purchased several Cardigans and Jumpers to wear over his shirt so I wont have to spend hours on end ironing his shirts for work, thus providing me with more time for more fruitful duties.
Please note; I love ironing, I find it very relaxing and it does wonders for my pores but my husband never in all the the years we have been together never asked for anything to be ironed, I just did it.
Now his new job requires that he is smartly dressed and I feel the pressure on myself to iron a batch ( 7- 10) of it each week on top of the girls uniforms and my things. So the pressure is off and he wears work clothes as below.
No these men are not my said husband just used as an example to show how you too could send your man off to work and nit be chained to the ironing board! And yes!! my husband is equally adorable and handsome! ( with a bit less hair) photos courtesy Pinterest.
